I've heard recently from a couple different people that it's important to have a why in your business and even just in life. Why do I want to teach people about dōTERRA and why do I want to sell there products. This video explains very well how important it is to have a why. While I was watching this short video I was thinking about past companies I have joined and have decided why it was I failed at them. In the past I joined other sales companies because I liked their products and was mostly interested in making money, not benefiting the lives of others. I was in it to make us money.... Which didn't work.
With dōTERRA I truly want to enrich the lives of others with the power of preventative health care. The very first time I heard about dōTERRA the lady didn't talk about how to make money with dōTERRA until the very end and even then I felt no pressure to buy. I felt as if she truly cared for every one at the class and only wanted to share the product and the information she had learned. I went away from the class excited to try the oils with my family and see if they could help our issues. I was given the essential oil Wild Orange and started using that on my hands in the morning to lift my mood. Two weeks later I received my Family Physician kit and started using the oils for EVERYTHING; they became part of my morning tea, I put them in my cleaner, used them on the bottom of my kids' feet, and on ache muscles. If a family member came to me with an issue I'd say "I have an oil for that" then turn to my book on oils to find the perfect oil for their issue. My kids were having tummy issues that were resolving on their own because of the oils, my skin cleared up because of using the skin care line with the essential oils in them (also made with only good ingredients), my sister started using Lavender on her feet every night and no longer needs to use sleeping pills at night. I get giddy just talking about the oils and look forward to the next person I come across with an issue that dōTERRA oils can fix (not that I want people to have issues but that I could help them in a natural way). Or just finding someone who will let me share what I've learned this week. Tomorrow I'll be mailing my family some Breathe to help them breathe at night, I cannot wait to hear the results.
