Welcome to doTERRA!

Here is a little bit of information that might help you start with your business. I want to list some links that will help you learn more about the oils, how to place orders and how to teach classes. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. If I don't know the answer I will find it for you.

www.mydoterra.com is where you will be using your back office to place LRP (Loyalty Rewards Program) orders. There is a link to your web page where your acquaintances, friend, and family members can purchase from you if they want to buy at retail. Your web page is www.mydoterra.com/(yourname) for example my web page is www.mydoterra.com/lalucas .

Setting up Loyalty Rewards Orders
     You will want to buy all of your products through the Loyalty Rewards Order. To view and change your loyalty rewards order, go to MANAGE LRP ORDERS link, in your back office, on the left hand side of the page. You can add or remove items on the page. Because you are doing this for the business and you would like to receive commissions you will need to make sure your LRP has an on going order of 100PV you can change what you order after your order has shipped for the month, that's what I usually do. If you want the free item of the month you will need to have an LRP order that is 125PV or higher. This item sometimes may be an oil or charm or something else. They will announce what the gift will be the first of the month. I have my LRP order set for the 5th of the month. That way I can see what the free gift is to make sure I get it or some months they will have added bonuses for instance in December the deal was have an LRP order of 200PV or higher and receive a free 15ml bottle of frankincense.  What a deal!! I want to jump on those offers.

I also buy my magazines for the class, oil key chains, stickers for the bottles and other odds and ends through my LRP order. I just make sure to change my order on the 6th of the month (the day after my order was placed).

To Register a New Consultant
     With your wholesale membership, you have the ability to earn income through sharing the life-enhancing benefits of doTERRA essential oils with others. It is very easy to become a new consultant! Before you register a new consultant or before anyone purchases under you make sure you have set up your LRP order to 100pv so you can be paid the commission. Then you need to make sure you ALWAYS have an LRP order of 100pv so you can continue to receive the commissions off of your customers. So to register a new consultant go to Consultant Services at the top of the screen and choose "Register a New Consultant." After selection simply enter the new consultants' personal information, and congratulations you have a new consultant!!

Using your oils:
     One drop of doTERRA essential oils goes a long way. Also not all essential oils are created equal and you want to make sure you stress this point in your classes because if they aren't pure oils they can have toxic effects on the body. Your doTERRA Essential Oils are CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) which means they are 100% pure, natural and potent with no additives!

     We use the oils both preventatively and to manage ailments. The Modern Essentials Book is a resource that will teach you what to do for your various health concerns. If I sign you up under me after you have purchased a kit and have an LRP order I will give you this book at the first class you teach. You can also research oils at www.everythingessential.me to get ideas on how to use the oils. At the classes you teach you want to make sure you stress that "doTERRA does not claim to treat, cure, or prevent diseases". Our bodies heal and repair itself if we give it the proper nutrition so the oils help our bodies repair on it's own.

     There are three different ways to use the oils: Topically, applying the oils with a carrier oil or neat (with no carrier oil) on the bottoms of the feet, because the pores are larger and can absorb the oils quicker. They can be applied on a certain area of the body where you need the oil to target. The oils can be applied on the spine, neck, face and behind the ears. Please avoid the eyes and ear canals and if you do get the oils in the eyes apply a carrier oil like olive oil, sunflower, coconut or any other vegetable oil. All of doTERRA's oils can be used topically. Aromatically; in a diffuser (you can purchase one from doTERRA) which can kill any bacteria or viruses in the air, you can inhale the oil straight from the bottle, put a drop on a cotton ball to inhale. This is helpful for clearing the passage ways or when dealing with nausea. All of doTERRA's oils can be used aromatically. Internally; You can take the oils internally by placing the oil directly on the gums, under the tongue, or in a capsule.

     Please remember the key to using the oils are to use LESS oil, MORE OFTEN. For example, if you are sick, you will have better results by using one drop every hour than 5 drops at a time.  Your feet are always a great location to apply the oils and your body knows how to make the oils go to where they are needed. The oils are in your bloodstream within seconds and will have affects every cell in your body in minutes. If you are not seeing results with the oils then you are probably not using them often enough.

     Remember, the above information is for the use of doTERRA oils only. Some oils may work better for other people so if one oil doesn't seem to work then try a different one. CAUTION: Keep out of the reach of children and stay away from eyes. When sharing doTERRA essential oils with children, a little extra caution is advised With citrus oils, avoid direct sunlight if applied to the skin for the next 24 hours.

I know there are a lot of web pages so just start learning about the oils and watch the Medicine Cabinet Makeover videos on youtube or on some of the other webpages. This is a common class to teach and a good one to have under your belt.
